Day 01 Bangalore
On arrival you will be met by our representative who will accompany you to the hotel and will assist you in check-in formalities.
Day 02 Bangalore – Bandipur (250 Kms/5 Hrs)
This morning after breakfast, you will leave for Bandipur, This Wildlife Sanctuary is one the oldest in India. Three beautiful rivers run through the sanctuary that is also a Project Tiger reserve. At Nadipur National Park, private vehicles are not allowed. The park can be explored through open vans and jeeps that are operated by the park authorities. On arrival, you will check into your hotel. Afterwards, you will take a jeep safari into the park and explore the flora and fauna of the region. You will return to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 03 Bandipur – Ooty (60 Kms/1 Hrs 20 min)
This morning you will have the opportunity to explore the varieties of bird and wildlife in the region, you can also enjoy an elephant safari. Post luch you will leave for Ooty short for Ootacamund which is a popular hill resort in south India. Situated in the striking Nilgiri hills, the weather is pleasant all year round, which is why it always a popular destination with tourists. On arrival you will have evening free to unwind yourself at your hotel or walk around in Ooty.
Day 04 Ooty
Today, proceed on a half-day sightseeing tour of Ooty, known as the ‘Queen of Hill Stations’. Nestled in the Nilgiri Hills, Ooty is a feast for the eyes, with its lofty, eucalyptus covered mountains, dense forests, and acres and acres of tea estates. Enjoy a stroll around the Botanical Gardens, covering an area of 22 acres. The garden comprises varieties of tree species, grass carpet, ferns, multi-colored flowering plants, orchids, nurseries and flowerbeds laid out in Italian style. Visit Doddabetta Peak, the highest point (2623 meters) in the Nilgiris, at the junction of the Western and Eastern Ghats. The top of the peak offers beautiful vistas of the Nilgiri Hills. To conclude your tour, explore Raj Bhavan. Built in 1877 by the Duke of Buckingham, Government House or Raj Bhavan is a sprawling, cream-colored mansion, overlooking the Botanical Gardens.
Day 05 Ooty - Kodaikanal
This morning after breakfast you will leave for Kodaikanal which is a charming hill station, stands amidst sylvan beauty on the southern crest of the upper Palani Hills near Madurai in Tamil Nadu. With its rocks, woods, lovely lake and bracing air, Kodaikanal is an ideal hill resort for the tourists. On arrival you will check in the hotel and unwind yourself.
Day 06 Kodaikanal
This morning you will leave for the visit of Kodai Lake. In 1863, Vera Levinge, a former District Collector of Madurai settled in Kodaikanal after his retirement. He was the man of resource and creative ideas for this lake. By spending his own money he converted the marshy land with several streams of lake by constructing a strong bund and brought boats from Tuticorin. Post lunch you will visit the The Shenbaganur Museum which has an impressive collection of stuffed-birds and the butterflies. The Flora and Fauna Museum is maintained by the Sacred Heart College. A Theological Seminary was founded in 1895. It is devoted to the archaeological remains and the flora and fauna of the hills. One of the best Orchidoriums in the country with more than 300 species is also located here.
You will have evening free to unwind yourself and relax at the hotel.
Day 07 Kodaikanal – Coimbatore (175 km / 3 hrs 30 min)
Today you will leave for Coimbatore from where you will take your flight to Bangalore, on arrival in Bangalore you will have time to wash & change and have dinner before you will board flight back home.
Day 08 Coimbatore – Bangalore
After Breakfast leave for Bangalore airport to board your flight for your final destination
